David Gens joins the board; Kevin Clark becomes Exec Treasurer
Announcement from Gary Schwartz, Canadian Lenders Association (CLA)
I am very pleased to announce that David Gens, Founder & CEO of Merchant Growth Ltd., one of Canada’s leading private finance companies focused on the SME marketplace, will be joining the CLA’s Board of Directors. David brings with him a wealth of experience in the lending technology space, and we are excited to welcome him as a valuable addition to our board.
David will be assuming the seat previously held by Kevin Clark, who, after four successful years as Chief Revenue Officer at Merchant Growth, will be transitioning to the role of Strategic Revenue Advisor at the company as of October 1st.
Kevin Clark, one of the principal founders of the CLA and a former Chair, Director, and Treasurer, will continue his important work with the Association by taking on a new role as Executive Treasurer. This strategic addition to our leadership team reflects the CLA’s commitment to growing and evolving alongside the needs of our expanding membership.
As the CLA continues to grow, now serving over 300 member companies across Canada, it has become increasingly important to expand our executive roles and oversight to ensure we continue to meet the needs and demands of our members. These appointments are a testament to our dedication to leadership and innovation in the industry.
We are thrilled with these developments and look forward to seeing both David and Kevin excel in their new roles within the CLA.
